Amber Waves 100% silk wild rags are made of Grade 6A, 19 momme silk. Grade 6A indicates the highest quality of silk and we are sure you will feel the difference in our products. 19 momme indicates the weight of the silk. Most silk wild rags are 12-14 momme. 19 mm silk is lightweight enough for garments and maintains excellent breathability, but is strong enough to withstand some serious use.
